Working together with its dealers, Komperdell is staging a cash-back promotion whereby consumers are invited to take their used poles, including those of competitors, to the dealer and get a voucher of €20 for the purchase of a new set of Komperdell poles. The Austrian company will sort out the used sticks. If they are still functional or repaired, the will be donated to the Sherpas in Nepal. If not, they will be disassembled and recycled for use in its supply chain. Komperdell already shipped 300 pairs of new Contour Titanal poles to Nepal last March for a donation to the Sherpas.
