The board of directors of the Swiss Calida Group, which includes the Lafuma Group with the outdoor brands Millet and Lafuma, has appointed Timo Schmidt-Eisenhart as chief executive officer of the Calida Group. Schmidt-Eisenhart will succeed Reiner Pichler in the first half of 2021. As reported earlier, Pichler will continue to run the Group until his replacement has been found.

Schmidt-Eisenhart has held various management positions at VF Corp. for thirteen years, most recently as president of Napapijri and VF Corp’s EMEA digital platform. He first joined VF in 2007 to work for The North Face. In 2012, he became vice president and general manager of Timberland. Prior to joining VF, he worked for Nike in various product and trade functions.
