Keen Footwear is using robots to make its Uneek shoes in half the time required with the conventional manufacturing process. The robots, which were developed by ABB, were presented at its booth at the Outdoor Retailer show in Salt Lake City at the beginning of this month. Retailers have shown interest in the technology as it could allow them to make customized shoes in their stores.
