The Covid-19 pandemic has led many Germans to rethink their own mobility: just under 40 percent said they wanted to change their mobility behavior as a result. The trend is clearly toward more pedestrians (+64 percent) and cyclists (+50 percent). The respondents also want to fly less frequently in the future (-64 percent). This was the result of a recent representative survey conducted by the Initiative for Safer Roads (www.gefahrenstellen.de) in collaboration with market research agency OmniQuest.
