Mammut is recommending that end users should check out the connectors of some models of avalanche airbags delivered for the winter 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons under the Mammut and Snowpulse brand names. They should do so as part of their regular equipment check. Inspections indicate that airbags produced for those two seasons with Inflation System 2.0 may have an improperly screwed connector between the deployment mechanism and the venturi valve.
