Migros, the huge Swiss retail cooperative and owner of the SportXX and Outdoor by Sport XX stores, is the new main sponsor of SAC, the Swiss alpine club. It is one of three main sponsors and the exclusive supporter of the youth section. Currently, SAC counts some 135,000 members. In 2011, SportXX increased its number of doors by four to 51, while the number of specialty outdoor stores remained stable at six compared with the previous year.
