Red Wing Shoes is one of the recipients of the Manufacturing Executive 2015 Manufacturing Leadership 100 Award (ML 100), in the Supply Chain Leadership category. ML winners and their technology partners will be honored at a gala in Carlsbad, California, on June 4, at the conclusion of the 11th annual Manufacturing Leadership Summit. The ML100 is presented by Manufacturing Executive. Red Wing Shoes specializes in work and outdoor products that can withstand a diverse range of conditions around the world, from the Midwest cornfields to Middle East oil fields. Following the growth of its product portfolio, volume and retail network, Red Wing Shoes set out to overhaul its supply chain processes. At the heart of this process was establishing the company's S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process, which Red Wing refers to as SIOP (Sales Inventory Operations Planning), in partnership with Logility Voyager Solutions.
