Smartwool will be a sponsor of the Ultra Tour Monte Rosa races, providing each participant with a complimentary pair of its socks. The UTMR one-day and multi-day races will be held on Sept. 5-8, starting and ending at Grächen, Switzerland. The new event was launched last year by Lizzy Hawker, a five-time winner of the Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB), after she completed the tour on her own in July 2016 to test the course.
