Arc’teryx opened its first North American brand store in 2020 in Calgary’s largest retail center, the Chinook Centre, on Aug. 29. The new 130 square-meter store is the brand’s third store in the Canadian province of Alberta, and the second one in the city of Calgary. The design incorporates a community element by way of photographs from local photographer and Arc’teryx ambassador, Jonathan Price. Each of the photographs feature Alberta’s majestic landscape and rolling outdoor spaces, as well as images of local athletes such as Will Gadd.
