The Norwegian bag label Db (formerly Douchebags), founded in 2009 by freeskier Jon Olsson and engineer Truls Brataas, has partnered up with the American full-service sales and wholesale marketing agency Global Sales Guys to enter the U.S. market this fall following a successful market test in 2018-19. Seeing itself as an incubator and curator of brands, Global Sales Guys focuses on bringing specialty products from around the world and sales solutions to specialty shops in the USA. Db, as a digitally native brand, brings a new wholesale model to the American specialty retailers across snow, bike, surf, and contemporary lifestyle communities. “We bring new products to market throughout the year using a community-backed drop model in limited quantities that drives a ton of interest for specialty retailers, complementing our seasonal colors and core mainline products,” said Brataas, founder and CEO of Db.
