In response to some exhibitors' requests to expand their booths, the OutDoor show in Friedrichshafen will enlarge the total exhibition space to more than 85,000 square meters, covering all the 12 halls of Messe Friedrichshafen's fairgrounds, the open-air exhibition grounds and the lake. Columbia, Mountain Hardwear, The North Face, Polartec, Thule and Vaude will be among the companies that will take advantage of the extra space. As previously reported, Hall 1, which previously accommodated the Tent City, has become a classical exhibition hall again. More than 900 exhibitors from 40 countries will present their products at the fair. Dynafit, Carl Zeiss and Kolping from Korea will return to Lake Constance. The European Outdoor Group will organize some 30 different debates on various themes. With the show running on an exceptional basis from Wednesday, July 15 to Saturday, July 18, the traditional OutDoor Party will take place on Friday night. It will again be sponsored by Polartec, with some of the funds going to the European Outdoor Conservation Association. At half past midnight, buses will bring party guests free of charge to hotels in the neighboring towns.
