The Ispo Award is launching a specific version of the prize for the outdoor industry. Products from all outdoor segments are eligible for the new Ispo Award OutDoor Edition, with categories extending beyond classic mountaineering and climbing equipment. Products for camping, urban outdoor, water sports and trail running can also be nominated. The nomination period for the first-ever Ispo Award OutDoor Edition will run from April 1 to May 17. The jury, made up of both experts and consumers, will meet for the first time in Annecy, France, after the nomination deadline passes. In addition to a technical evaluation, the jury meeting will involve a practical test of the products. All nominated products will be judged on the basis of innovation, design, function and quality.
