After recently approving SGS as its first third-party laboratory member (as previously reported), The Microfibre Consortium (TMC) has now approved Eurofins Scientific as a new third-party laboratory member. Eurofins’ membership will further support the development of practical solutions for the textile industry to minimize fiber fragmentation and release to the environment from textile manufacturing and product life cycle. Eurofins is an international group of laboratories providing testing and lab services for a variety of industries. Headquartered in Luxembourg, the company has a staff of more than 50,000 across a network of more than 900 independent companies in over 50 countries and operates more than 800 laboratories. Utilizing its global network of testing laboratories and technical expertise, Eurofins will provide TMC with standardized test method services.
