The Scandinavian Outdoor Group (SOG) has welcomed two new members. The first new member, Zlideon by Zip Clip Solutions AB, a Swedish company based in Stockholm, is a globally patented product that enables customers to easily repair broken zippers and thus extend the lifespan of their clothing. The Zlideon is made of surface-treated zinc and is very durable. According to the brand, it is used by the British military. The history of the Finnish company Muurikka, the second new member, began in the 1970s with the idea of increasing the diameter of a cooking kettle to increase the available frying surface. Today, Muurikka offers durable products for outdoor cooking – from tiny stainless steel campfire kettles to large tundra grill outdoor fireplaces, which have been made of Finnish steel since 1983. The SOG now has a total of 75 members.
