The North Face (TNF) has launched a limited T-shirt collection made from disposable plastic bottles collected in the Alps. For the Bottle Source collection, the brand collected 18,000 kilograms of plastic waste in the mountains. The white unisex short or long-sleeved shirts feature TNF’s heritage logo in blue, pink or green, in reference to the brand’s origins in San Francisco. The limited Recover Tee shows the brand’s sense of responsibility, protects the environment and allows you to continue to discover nature. In the hope of limiting the damage caused in the future, TNF also wants to use the collection to raise awareness of the amount of waste left behind in the mountains.

For every T-shirt produced, TNF donates €1 to the Summit Foundation. The foundation supports clean-up campaigns in the Alps. It’s mission is to reduce the impact of human (leisure) activities on the environment, especially in highly frequented places. This includes raising awareness of the issue among public institutions and businesses and developing concrete solutions. The collection is available online and in selected stores.
