Canadian brand Arc’teryx has opened a new brand store in Kitsilano, a trending neighborhood in its hometown of Vancouver. The new 420-sqm Kitsilano location will replace the existing West 4th store that was opened in 2013. The store hosts Vancouver’s first ReBird service center, offering repair and care solutions for Arc’teryx products – from product care and repair education through to complimentary on-site product assessment, light-touch repairs, technical washing and re-waterproofing on-site. The service center is the sixth of its kind after openings in New York, Toronto, Boulder, Tokyo and Beijing. Called the first “pinnacle” store, the shop offers the widest selection of Arc’teryx products, including the sub-brands Veilance and System A. Besides selling and caring for products, the store is aiming to work as a community hub for local outdoor enthusiasts, hosting community events and activations, including climbing gym nights, film screenings and group runs.
