Silva, the Swedish company best known for its compasses and headlamps, will change its distributor in France. The new partner, Sport Pulsion, will take over all distribution rights in France from Scandinalp/Loisiralp, Silva’s partner for the past eight years, effective June 1. Loisiralp has also just lost Deuter to the newly formed Schwan-Stabilo Outdoor France. Sports Pulsion is based in Allonzier-la-Caille, a town in the French departement Haute-Savoie, not far from Annecy. The company has represented renowned international sports brands in the French market since the mid-1980s. Its current portfolio includes ATK, Giro, Hagan, Jones, Lowa, Maloja, Osprey, Buff, Ortlieb and a number of other well-known outdoor, bike, snow and water sports brands.
